Fred Jeffs. the owner of a Quinton sweetshop & tobacconists (now the premises of CBC Car Spares & Bike Store), was found murdered on Good Friday, 19th April 1957. Over 60 years later, the murder remains unsolved.

Theatre-maker Graeme Rose, great nephew of Fred Jeffs, is creating a piece of new theatre by engaging with the local community, based on their memories of the case.

He is interested in talking to anyone who remembers the murder, has heard about it or simply has an interest in the history of the Quinton/Warley area.
